Have a Gobble-tastic Thanksgiving!

Ways to make your family Thanksgiving be as fun and stress-free as possible.

         Gobble Gobble! Happy Thanksgiving! My family is so excited to get the holiday season going but if I’m being honest, being a parent makes the holidays a bit extra stressful because of everything we’re supposed to do. For starters, even though it’s wonderful to have our kids home all week but THEY WILL BE HOME ALL WEEK. They’ll be roaming around every minute of every day while you’re trying to clean, decorate and cook one of the biggest meals of the year. Not to mention that you have family coming in and expecting everything to be perfect and to be entertained. Yikes! It can be super overwhelming, but don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! I’ve put together a list of links to some great activities to keep the kids busy and happy while you bustle around the house. 

                First off, we have a site with great, simple crafts that will not only keep them busy but can add to the festive Thanksgiving décor around your house.

                Onto what is my most stressful part of Thanksgiving, COOKING! I thought I’d share some helpful and fun recipes to try to make things easier and more fun for Thanksgiving dinner. The first link is to multiple “easy” side dishes. The second link is for slow cooker recipes. I don’t know about you, but one of my biggest headaches is running out of room in the oven. Anything that I can prepare outside of the oven or stove would be a great help. The last link is for the most important part of Thanksgiving dinner, dessert of course!
