About six months ago, I was incredibly excited to become the publisher for Macaroni Kid Palatine-Barrington. Just a few days after taking over the site, I started a new job with greater responsibilities and a slightly longer commute.
I have tried over the past six months to share local events and information and programs and giveaways with the community. But Macaroni Kid is really all about what you put into it, and I just don't have the time right now to do the site justice.
So I have stepped down as publisher. I'm going to miss writing articles for you and will miss this level of involvement in the community.
