The Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association offers free tickets for a variety of concerts through May 2020.

According to the CSO website, "Since 1919, young artists have sought membership in the Civic Orchestra of Chicago to develop their musicianship and to further prepare for professional careers. The Civic Orchestra is the only training orchestra of its kind affiliated with a major American orchestra."
- Monday, October 21 From the British Isles, Ken-David Masur, conductor: a program inspired by the British landscape, including a 2012 piece by Scottish composer Helen Grime and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3 (Scottish).
- Sunday, December 8 Farces, Folk Songs, and Prokofiev 5, Erina Yashima, conductor: featuring Strauss'Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks, Berio'sFolk Songs and Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5.
- Monday, February 3 Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony, Ken-David Masur, conductor: a richly-orchestrated masterwork showcasing organist Patrick Godon.
- Sunday, March 29 100th Anniversary Concert, Ken-David Masur, conductor: a special event celebrating one hundred years to the day of Civic's first-ever concert.
- Monday, May 4 Sounds of America, Thomas Wilkins, conductor: showcasing two pieces by African-American composers and Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 (From the New World).
- Tuesday, June 2 Shostakovich 10, Rossen Milanov, conductor: a season finale of Adès'Asyla and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10.

Members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra perform a series of free chamber concerts in Orchestra Hall and in various locations in Chicago.
- Sunday, November 3 at South Shore Cultural Center: the Wabash Avenue Music Collective performs Beethoven's Serenade for Flute, Violin and Viola in D Major, Mendelssohn’s Piano Quartet No. 3 and Havenu Sholem Aleichem: Variations and Theme, composed by Max Raimi.
- Wednesday, February 19 at Symphony Center: CSO Chamber Players will perform Bartók’s Contrasts and Messiaen’s Quatuor pour la fin du temps.
- Tuesday, March 10 at Senn High School: The Addison Ensemble performs Beethoven’s String Trio in D Major, Op. 9, No. 2, as well as Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 3 in C Minor.
- Wednesday, April 1 at Symphony Center: Chicago Pro Musica performs an all-French program including Ibert’s Trois pièces brèves, Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin, as well as works by Debussy and Pierné.
- Wednesday, May 13 at Symphony Center: The Pressenda Trio performs Piano Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 1, No. 1 and Brahms’ Piano Trio No. 2.
- Saturday, June 14 at the Beverly Arts Center: The Linden Ensemble performs Beethoven's Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello in B-flat Major and Brahms’ Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano in E-flat Major.
