Think Pink & Sweat Red 5K Fun Run

By Jennifer Brauer, Community Manager, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer May 4, 2017

The American Cancer Society is dedicated to ending the fight against Breast Cancer. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks are the largest network of breast cancer events in the nation, uniting nearly 300 communities to help end breast cancer. We honor those touched by the disease and raise awareness and funds to create a world free from the pain and suffering caused by breast cancer.

In the Northwest Suburbs our annual walk takes place on October 15th, 2017 (details at www.makingstrideswalk.org/northwestsuburbanil). This year, we are partnering with Gym Guyz of Barrington to host a 5k fun-run. All proceeds will go to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

This event will take place on June 3rd, at Citizens Park in Barrington. Check-In is at 8:30am with the fun-run beginning at 9am.

Tickets are $35 for Adults and $20 for children- both fees include a limited edition race t-shirt.
